My friend shared with me this: her niece's boyfriend who is doing phd in biochem said that these particulate s (in the haze) are too tiny and they will bypass the hairy and mucous nose to lodge into the lungs. As these particulates are non-water solvent, they will stay in the lungs, will cause cells to mutate and potentially cancer cells can develop from there. So do take care and keep your children and elderly folks indoors. And wear N95 masks even though it's a short walk from home to car and office. Take care.
Advice fr gynae in glen as it's non water solvent.. If children refuse use mask, can also wear handkerchiefs/ small towels sprayed w water.. Hope it helps! We old already but must take good care of our next generation as long way for them lor.. Inform relatives/friends with kids too.. Hope all be safe..... From my friend, take care
